Trust is earned, donation by donation. Here's the short version of how RISE Mzansi looks after every rand you give.
Every donation is logged
We record every contribution — the amount, the date, the campaign it funded — and issue a receipt the moment the payment clears.
Public donor register
We voluntarily publish all donations above R100,000 — above and beyond what the law requires of political parties.
Independently audited
Our finances are audited annually by an external firm and the audit opinion is published alongside our annual report.
Donations we won't accept
We do not accept funds from foreign governments, state-owned entities, or sources we cannot identify. Disputed donations are returned.
The legal basics
South African law requires political parties to publicly disclose donations above R200,000. RISE Mzansi voluntarily discloses every donation above R100,000 — and we publish them in the week the funds clear, not quarterly.
We are registered with the Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) and submit all required quarterly and annual returns. Our auditor's annual letter is published alongside our annual report.
